Marian Merrill

Marian Merrill graduated from Wheaton in 1922 and returned to become the head of the library’s circulation department in 1927. She was promoted to assistant librarian in 1928 and became the head librarian in 1929, serving until 1961. In 1972, when her class had its fiftieth reunion, the Merrill Room of the Madeleine Clark Wallace Library was dedicated to her.
