The Winning Design
A competition to design a modern fine arts center is sponsored by Wheaton College and Architectural Forum. The winning architects, who collaborated for the first time on their entry, are Caleb Hornbostel and Richard M. Bennett of New York. The winning design is never built because of the College’s lack of funds and the coming world war.
