Lloyd G. and Mildred Balfour

Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd G. and Mildred Balfour were the founders of the Balfour Company, maker of class rings and longtime friends of the College. The Balfour-Hood Center and the natatorium in the Haas Athletic Center were named in their memory. A large tract of woods adjoining the southern end of the campus was a gift of the Balfours.
